The Tulubhan Reef dive site is 8.5 kilometers (4.5 nautical miles) away by speedboat from our Scotty’s Dive Center in Boracay. The Tulubhan dive site is located on the east coast side of the Boracay Island just 20 minutes from our dive center. The dive site is suitable for all types of scuba divers where it starts at around 5 meters (15 feet) deep down to 20 meters (65 feet) with a mild current. Tulubhan Reef is composed of remarkable coral reef formation where soft and hard corals are fills the seabeds. A lot of critters are living on these corals. The usual tropical fishes are shoaling around these formations, like the parrotfish and the butterflyfish which give a colorful ambiance. Sea cucumbers are very common in the area as well as the moray eels and the black and white striped sea snakes. One of the shallow diving destination in Boracay and a perfect quiet dive for beginners, the Tulubhan reef, is also well-known for having a slow and steady flow of current.
