Channel Drift, also known as Channel Steps is a thrilling drift dive with fast currents that run through the channel between the islands of Boracay and Panay. The peculiar shape of the channel is multiple stair-like drop-offs, hence the name Channel Steps.
At the bottom of this dive site, gorgonian fan corals, whips and barrel sponges are seen, along with rocks that give shelter to sweetlips and groupers. At around 30 meters are a few small cave-like outcroppings where whitetip reef sharks and rays often rest. Channel drift is a fun dive site, so zoom along and enjoy the ride!
